We are a dance band and play for Ceilidhs & Barn Dances. We work with an MC (or caller) who can get the dancers on the floor and explain the figures in the dance. In addition to this, Rob frequently performs on the Northumbrian pipes and we also work with singers & clog dancers to provide a complete evenings entertainment.

There are literally hundreds of dances that might be called in a night. A typical dance night might include a good selection of the following:

• Couple Dances: Swedish Masquerade, Military Two-step, Eva Three Step, Canadian Barn Dance, St Bernards Waltz, Pride of Erin Waltz
• Square sets: La Russe, Cumberland Square
• Others: Circassian Circle, Rifleman, Westmoreland Cottagers, Dashing White Sergeant, Willow Tree, Strip the Willow,

Our callers have a huge range of dances, you can always request a specific dance!

We play throughout Northumberland & Durham and will also venture further afield. Between the various members, we've probably visited and played at most of the village halls, hotels and other public spaces in the area. If you haven't settled on a venue, we can probably help with identifying the ideal spot.
